DIY herbal infusions
Organic infusions can be quite expensive when you buy them at the supermarket, have you noticed? Yet they are so easy to make. Here’s a list of some herbal teas you can easily make yourself. Get some dried leaves, roots or petals and infuse them in a strainer just as if you’re making a regular pot of loose tea. You can also mix and match and try new combinations. This list is by no means exhausting but it’s a good start. Which mood are you in today? (PS: Some of these might not be suitable if you’re pregnant, please check with your doctor!)

Nettle raises energy levels, boosts immune system and is packed with iron and vitamins.
Fennel awakens and uplifts, freshens breath and aids colon health.
Echinacea lends and increased and consistent sense of well being and prevents cold and flu.
Ginger root calms and cheers, while aiding digestions. It improves circulation and prevents nausea.
Dandelion root grounds and centres on stressful days. It provides many minerals and nutrients and also cleanses liver of toxins.
Lavender is super calming and soothing, ideal to drink a cuppa right before bed.
