Hello, I’m Ari and I’m a Level 3 qualified teacher of Pilates, Yoga, Barre and Pre/Postnatal exercises. I obtained my certificates through HFE and BarreConcept and have several years experience teaching in studios and online.
My journey started in elementary school with acrobatics and inline skating thanks to a very dedicated teacher. I continued practicing ballet, martial arts, Yoga and skating, which I still love to do whenever the London weather allows it.
As a teenager I was rather slouchy even though I was always into sports. I guess I never consciously made an effort to straighten up each time I sat at my school desk, but who does? Soon I was assigned a strict training plan at my local gym and my posture improved quickly. It can be surprising how fast your body shape and even your mind can improve with regular exercise.
Now, every time I’m out and about I notice peoples posture. I have an eye for it now and all I can think of is how much I wanna help them improve theirs.
I started my training in Barre and Pilates back in 2014. Whilst Barre was fun, challenging and exhilarating, Pilates taught me how to gain body control and balance. I studied anatomy and physiology, which has broadened my knowledge and passion for technique, alignment and posture. It’s important for me to understand how our muscles are connected in order to help you improve your body. In each class I aim to give precise instructions for alignment and technique so that you can fully benefit from each session.
After all, your stance and posture is a reflection of your mind as well. I firmly believe that by developing healthy habits, nearly every aspect of our lives can change for the better. All you need is a little bit of discipline in the beginning, and it will soon become a routine you cannot live without. As Joseph Pilates has stated, your transformation will be reflected in the way you walk, play and work. And it will feel so good 🙂
