lemon against cellulite
Summer time is leg time for me. I hardly ever wear low cut tops even when it’s super hot. Reason for this is that I have super sensitive skin on my chest, as most of us do, I think. The skin on your chest is thin and delicate and deserves special attention. If however, you choose to showcase a bit of décolletage and you’re out and about this summer, make sure to protect it with SPF 50. This is avoiding any dark spots and slows down ageing. As we have to carry the weight of our breasts, the skin is under more stress than elsewhere 🙂 A bit of training in this area helps as well. You can check out some exercise videos I made with focus on lifting the bust.
Instead I often wear shorts and mini skirts. I love showing legs, always have and always will, even with thighs in icy winter. One thing I noticed here in France is that most women have super toned legs. I’m trying to figure out their secrets but I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that french women are very mindful when it comes to eating sugar. And cellulite is just this: sugar. If you cut it down completely, you will see improvement in about three months. And the results will be long lasting, if you keep it up 🙂
I addition, it is also useful to massage your legs and drink plenty of water, ideally with a dash of fresh lemon juice in it. This breaks up the fat cells and gets rid of cellulite. Remember, this only works in combination with cutting down on sugar.
Nivea firming body lotion is tried and true
This body lotion has amazing reviews all round and it really does the trick, provided you also watch your diet and drink plenty of water. Remember skin care doesn’t perform miracles. What you put inside your body is far more important and if you work out or not. All of this weighs more than any cream, lotion or magic potion. Especially when it comes to cellulite.
But, there are some things you can do on the outside to fight those bumps. Massaging your skin regularly with natural oils containing essential oils of lemon, pine and other refreshing extracts help to promote circulation. There are many good oils available, especially from Weleda. Using oil in summer can be a bit annoying, it’s just not practical to step out with oil on your legs when it’s amidst a heatwave. You want something lighter that is going to sink in and not leave traces on your clothes or wherever you’re gonna sit down 🙂
I recommend Nivea Firming Body Lotion Q10 + Vitamin C, it has a great toning effect and stood the test of time. If you want to see results be mindful to use it every day for a while. I suggest you start using it at least a month in advance, ideally before summer starts. Always start from your ankles and massage the lotion up towards your hips, in circular motion. Squeezing the juice of a lemon in a glass of mineral water will help to break up the fat cells as well 😉 Also, there are plenty of affordable massaging tools available. Many drug and health stores should have them. I suggest you take a look and see what suits your needs best. If you don’t have time every day after shower to indulge in a massage using i.e. a roller, you can use it at least once a week or in the evenings. If you do it regularly, you will still see and most importantly feel a difference. Because heavy legs will feel so much lighter 🙂
