Every morning I have a glass of warm water. That is pretty much the first thing I do, right after waking up. For this I just simply mix regular cold water with – roughly – a third of a glass with boiling hot water. You can just use what’s left in the kettle from making tea. It gently wakes up your system and anything you will eat during the day will be easier absorbed and better digested.
Right after, I get into pimping my water with lemon. I squeeze the juice of one lemon and pour it into a large glass of water. This has several benefits. I’ve been doing this for years and can’t imagine my mornings without it anymore.
Sometimes, when I have time (preferably on a Sunday) I jazz itup with some fresh mint leave and ginger. Your gut and skin will thank you, I promise.

I have noticed some positive changes in my skin and overall wellbeing. It makes me feel fresh and cleansed and that I have done something healthy for my body. That won’t excuse eating junk food a few hours later BUT if life gives you lemons….just squeeze them!
